2012-2013 PreK Registration Information

The Griffin-Spalding County School System PreK registration for the 2012-2013 school year will be held the week of March 19-23 at each elementary school. A lottery of these registrations will be held March 27-April 5 to determine which students will be in the class. This is NOT a first come-first serve registration process. ALL registrations will go into the drawing.

As a public school Pre-K provider we require that all Pre-K students be registered only in their home school-the school in which they are zoned. If you register your child at a school other than your home school or more than one school, your child’s name will be removed from the lottery and placed on the waiting list.

There will be a pre-registration informational session on March 5 from 6-7pm in the Taylor Street Learning Center which is located in the same building as the GSCS County Offices at the corner of 6th and Poplar Streets. All parents are invited to attend.

Click here to view the required information to register all Pre-K children. All items must be submitted in order for your child to go on the list for the lottery drawing. Any missing items will result in an incomplete registration and will not go into the drawing.
